Concrete Repair Mortar

1. Product Description

It is a fast repair mortar used for repairing concrete and fari-faced concrete surfaces. Providing protection against corrosion, this mortar is reinforced with fiber.

2. Application Field

It is a concrete repair mortar used for repairing defects, segregations and areas where surface loss is observed on concrete and / or fari-faced concrete surfaces. If a plurality of layers are required, the layer thickness can range from 5 mm to 30 mm.

4. Application Instructions

Surface Preparation
Dust, oil, dirt, etc. on the surface should be cleaned. Loose, unstable parts on the surface should be removed. Dirt on the surface and any different layers, cement residues, etc. should be cleaned by sandblasting. For the minimum bond strength required, the relevant technical requirements for mineral surfaces must be observed. (DAfStb guidelines and ZTV-ING for the protection and improvement of concrete components).

Steel Reinforcement
For steel reinforcement, rust and corrosion must be removed to achieve the standard degree of cleaning specified in regulation SA 21/2 -DIN EN ISO 12944-4. There should not be any rust layer, dirt, oil etc. on the surface. Sandblasting is a recommended cleaning method unless quartz is used. After the surface cleaning, at least 10 mm depth should be applied for steel reinforcement. Two coats of KEIM Concretal-MKH should be applied to protect against corrosion.

Mixture
Add KEIM Concretal-Universalmörtel-S to the water. Mix with a mixer or a low speed mixer for about 3 minutes until a homogenous mixture is achieved. Mixing the product by hand is not allowed.

Mixing Ratio:
For 25 kg of KEIM Concretal-Universalmörtel-S: 3.75 – 4.00 lt*water is required.
* Water is added to the desired consistency and depending on the temperature conditions.

(Low temperature = Less water requirement; High temperature = Excess water requirement)

Application
The surface must be wetted before application. If the surface is very absorbent, it should be wetted several times beforehand. Use fresh water for soaking. First, KEIM Concretal-Universalmörtel-S is applied as a thin layer on the moist surface. If the cavities on the surface and the hollow areas have an area of 30 mm, multiple layers should be applied. Spray application is not possible. Spray application is not possible. Smooth finishes can be achieved with the help of tools such as trowels.

After Application
To prevent the Concretal-Universalmörtel-S from drying out very quickly, methods such as keeping the applied surface moist and covering it can be applied. It must be protected from direct sunlight and wind.

Beton ve brüt beton yüzeylerin onarımında kullanılan hızlı bir onarım harcıdır. Korozyona karşı koruma sağlayan bu harç, fiber ile güçlendirilmiştir.

2. Uygulama Alanı
Beton ve/ veya brüt beton yüzeylerde defektlerin, segregasyonların ve yüzey kaybı görülen alanların onarımında kullanılan bir beton tamir harcıdır. Çok sayıda katmanın gerekmesi halinde katman kalınlığı 5 mm ile 30 mm arasında değişebilmektedir.

4. Uygulama Talimatları
Yüzeyin Hazırlanması
Yüzeydeki toz, yağ kir vb unsurlar temizlenmelidir. Yüzeydeki gevşek, sağlam olmayan kısımlar alınmalıdır. Yüzeydeki kir, varsa farklı katmanlar, çimento artıkları vb. kumlama ile temizlenmelidir. Gerekli olan minimum bağ gücü konusunda, mineral yüzeylere yönelik ilgili teknik gereksinimlere uyulmalıdır (beton komponent- lerinin korunması ve iyileştirilmesi için DAfStb kılavuz ilkeleri ve ZTV-ING).
Çelik Güçlendirme
Çelik güçlendirmesi için SA 21/2 -DIN EN ISO 12944-4 sayılı yönetmelikte belirtilen standart temizlik derecesi elde edilecek şekilde pas ve korozyon temiz- lenmelidir.Yüzey üzerinde herhangi bir pas tabakası, kir, yağ vb kalmamalıdır. Kuvars ile yapılmamak kaydıyla kumlama tavsiye edilen bir temizleme yönte- midir. Yüzey temizliği sonrası çelik güçlendirme için en azından 10 mm derinliğinde bir uygulama yapılmalıdır. Korozyona (paslanma) karşı koruma sağlamak için iki kat KEIM Concretal-MKH uygulanmalıdır.
Karışım
KEIM Concretal-Universalmörtel-S ‘yi suya ekleyin. Bir mikserle veya düşük devirde çalışan bir karıştırıcıyla yaklaşık 3 dakika boyunca homojen bir karışım elde edene kadar karıştırın. Ürünün elle karıştırılmasına izin verilmemektedir.
Karışım Oranı:
25 kg KEIM için 3.75 – 4.00 lt* su gerekmektedir. Concretal-Universalmörtel-S.

Uygulama
Uygulamadan önce yüzey ıslatılmak zorundadır. Yüzey çok emici ise önceden bir kaç defa ıslatılmalıdır. Islatma için temiz su kullanınız. İlk olarak nemli yüzey- in üzerine ince bir ön tabaka halinde KEIM Concretal- Universalmörtel-S uygulanır. Yüzeydeki oyukların, çukur bölgelerin 30 mm bir alana sahip olması halinde, çoklu katmanlar halinde uygulamas yapılması gerekir. Sprey uygulaması (püskürterek uygulama) mümkün değildir. Düzeltme harcı olarak da kullanılan Concretal- Universalmörtel-S mala vb aletler yardımı ile düzgün bitişler elde edilebilir.
Uygulama Sonrası
Concretal-Universalmörtel-S‘in çok hızlı kurumasını engellemek için uygulama yapılan yüzeyi nemli tutmak ve üzerini kapatmak gibi yöntemler uygulanabilir.Doğrudan güneş ışığından ve rüzgârdan korunmalıdır.

1. Product Description

Water-dilutable resin for cement-bonded fillers.

2. Application Field

KEIM Concretal-Feinspachtel is a filling material used by adding with water.

3. Application Instructions

Surface Preparation
Dust, oil and other contaminants on the surface should be cleaned. It is recommended to clean the surface by sandblasting method. It may be necessary to wet the surface slightly beforehand, but the surface should not be fully saturated with water.

Application
Mixing rate is 25 kg of dry KEIM Concretal-Feinspachtel with 4.5 lt water and 1.5 lt KEIM Concretal-Spezialvergütung at 20°C.

KEIM Concretal-Spezialvergütung is first added to water and mixed well. Depending on the temperature conditions, it is recommended that you test before applying the product.

Application Temperature
For application, it is recommended that the air and surface temperature be between 8°C and 30°C.

Consumption

60 ml / m2

Repetition should be applied one more coat at 20°C after at least 5 days.

By adding KEIM Concretal-Spezialvergütung to the KEIM Concretal-Feinspachtel, the adhesion to the surface can be increased. In principle, KEIM Concretal-Spezialvergütung is recommended for filling very thin layers of plaster and defect and small-scale segregated areas. In this case, 1 liter of mixing water is replaced by KEIM Concretal-Spezialvergütung.

KEIM Concretal – MKH Corrosion Protection and Bonding Bridge

KEIM Concretal®-MKH

Mineral corrosion protection and bond bridge creating for concrete.

1.Product Description

KEIM Concretal provides protection against mineral corrosion and bonding bridges for the concrete repair system and complies with the guidelines of the ZTV-ING TL / TP BE PCC I-II and DAfStb and European Union regulation 1504-7.

2.Application Field4

Application for Corrosion Protection Purpose

This application against corrosion in order to reinforce rusted steel after sandblasting complies with SA 21/2 and DIN EN 12944-4.

 
Application for the purpose of creating a bond bridge
It is used in civil engineering and bridge construction for PCC I and II applications, to form a creating bridge between cement based surface and KEIM Concretal-Mörtel-R concrete repair mortar. ZTV-ING and DAfStb’s guidelines for building construction.

3.Features of Product

Consisting of a single component, this material is polymer reinforced and acts as a cement mortar and is mixed with water. It provides active protection against corrosion for reinforcing steel and provides protection against chlorine within the scope of concrete repair mortar.

4.Application Instructions

Application Methods
It is applied with a paint brush to protect against corrosion and to form a bond bridge.

Surface Preparation
Reinforcing Steel
For reinforcing steel, the surface must be prepared to a standard degree of cleaning in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944-4. There should be no rust layer on it and should be free of other contaminants. The sand ramp with quartz-free sand is a suitable cleaning method.

Concrete Surface
The surface must be clean, solid, open-pored and absorbent. Concrete surfaces must be at least B25 quality. Concrete sand, dust and dirt are removed by sandblasting. Surfaces applied according to the joint sealant and the protection against evaporation are not suitable (sections 3 and 4 of ZTVING and See table 3.4.2). For example; The surface must be suitably prepared before treatment using a suitable method such as sand blasting or high pressure water spraying.

Mixing Process
KEIM Concretal-MKH sürekli karıştırmak suretiyle belirli bir miktar suyun içine eklenir ve ürün istenilen kıvama gelene kadar karıştırma işlemine devam edilir. Ardından homojen bir karışım elde edilmiş olur. Karıştırma süresi 5 dakikadır. Düşük devirde çalışan karıştırıcılar kullanılmalıdır.

Mixin Ratio
Approximately 3.6-3.8 liters of water is required for a 20 kg package and approximately 0.9-0.95 liters of water is required for a 5 kg package. Water is added to the desired consistency and depending on the temperature conditions.
(Low temperature = Low water requirement; High temperature = Excess water requirement)

Corrosion Protection Purpose
Application
KEIM Concretal-MKH is applied in two or three layers to the steel surface prepared by using suitable paint brushes. Two applications for PCC applications and three applications for SPCC applications are required. Each coat should be applied homogeneously and cover the entire surface. In order to obtain the required application rate, all sides should be covered.

Wating time at 20°C: 1st floor immediately after dusting. Second floor after at least 3 hours.

It should be applied after at least 3 hours for bond bridge application.

(At least 3 hours after the 3rd floor for SPCC, SPCC should be applied once after 12 hours).

Application for Creating Bond Bridge

The cleaned surface must be pre-wetted and, if possible, kept moist for 24 hours. If not possible, KEIM Concretal-MSC should be kept soaked for at least 2 hours before application. Brush the KEIM Concretal-MKH firmly with the previously prepared area and apply bond bridge over the entire area. During the working period, apply KEIM Concretal-MDG prepared in the form of a mixture (see table “Technical Data bu for this). Hardened KEIM Concretal-MKH should not be diluted with water nor mixed with the new KEIM Concretal-MKH. Immediately apply KEIM Concretal-Mörtel-R to the wet surface without allowing KEIM Concretal-MKH to dry, otherwise pre-coat the surface with KEIM Concretal-MKH. Work with KEIM Concretal- MKH part by part in large areas.

Immediately clean materials, machines and mixers with water after use. Once hardened, it can only be removed mechanically.

Thin Layer Concrete Coating

1. Product Description

When sol-silicate based Concretal Lasur diluted with KEIM Concretal-Fixativ or KEIM Concretal-Base, it occurs excellent an opaque thin coating and finish with low pigment. With use of KEIM Silane-100, it stasfies DIN EN1504-2/2.2 standart.

2. Application Field

It is used to creat a low pigment top coat on indoor and outdoor fair-faced concrete surfaces. For example, fair-faced concrete surface . For example, stains and repairs may be concealed with a color tone of concrete on fair-faced concrete surfaces where no plaster will be applied. In addtion to this, When it is used with KEIM Concretal-Fixativ or KEIM Concretal-Base, concrete appearance with colour is provided. ,

The opaque thin layer coatings adhering to the surface structure are intended to provide a protective topcoat resistant to water and weather. Water resistance can be further enhanced by forming a waterproof substrate using KEIM Silangrund or KEIM Silan-100. With use of KEIM Silane-100, it stasfies DIN EN1504-2/2.2 waterproofing standart. KEIM Concretal Lasur is not suitable for horizontal and slightly inclined weathered surfaces.

3. Product Features

KEIM Concretal Lasur protects concrete from weather conditions and thus prevents the penetration of aggressive atmospheric pollutants. The surface structure of the concrete, such as mold board traces, is fully preserved.Surface is mineral matt. With the KEIM Concretal-Fixativ or KEIM Concretal-Base, different low pigment finishes can be obtained with various dilution rates or optical defects such as stains and color differences can be eliminated.

The binder is a combination of silica sol, potassium silicate and pure acrylate.

4. Application Information

The application surface must be dust-free and dry. Loose areas, dirt, oily materials, algae and unhealthy existing organic bound layers need to be completely removed. In case of fresh concrete structures, any residual oil must be removed with KEIM Betonschnell-reiniger (concrete cleaner). Clean, robust concrete does not require pretreatment. Before application of KEIM Concretal Base and KEIM Concretal Lasur, highly absorbent surfaces or surfaces exposed to harsh weather conditions can be treated with a waterproof substrate such as KEIM Silangrund or KEIM Silan-100 (tested with ZTV-ING) to improve waterproofing. KEIM Concretal-Lasur can be applied after approx. 4 hours if the next primer coat is KEIM Silangrund and after 4 to 24 hours if KEIM Silan-100. Soft, hollow concrete surfaces or existing mineral layers can be pre-treated with KEIM Concretal-Fixativ.

Low Pigment Layer :
In outdoor applications, the need for weather resistance generally requires the application of a low pigment coating in two coats by brush. For primer and topcoat, KEIM Concretal-Lasur can be diluted with KEIM Concretal-Fixativ or KEIM Concretal-Base in any ratio, depending on the desired translucency of the topcoat. To determine the dilution rate, it is recommended to make samples in the test areas. Ensure that mixing well of diluted KEIM Concretal-Lasur before and during work. Water or any other material is not added.

Note :
The system components, Concretal-Lasur, Concretal-Base and Concretal-Fixativ can be mixed together in any desired ratio. KEIM Concretal-Base provides an attractive transparency with ideal application consistency and film thickness. KEIM Concretal-Fixativ provides highly transparent low pigment topcoats with beautiful color brightness and very low film thickness.,

Opaque Coating

The primer layer plus topcoat is required to provide an opaque protective coating that protects the surface structure.

Primer Layer: Dilute KEIM Concretal-Lasur 15 lt with KEIM Concretal-Fixativ 2,5 – 8 lt (0,2 – 0,5 lt Fixativ with Lasur 1lt).
Top Coat: Concretal-Lasur is applied undiluted by brush, roller or spray with a wet edge protection.

Application Conditions :
Air and application surface temperature should be between + 5 ° C and max. 30 ° C. (Up to 80% relative humidity.) Apply only in dry weather conditions. Do not apply on highly heated surfaces or in strong windy weather. After application, protect the surfaces from excessive drying, wind and rain.

Drying Time :
Between layers, min. 12 hours. Before primer layer and after KEIM Silangrund min 4 hour or after KEIM Silan-100 approx. 4 or 24 hours should be waited.

Consumption:
For two opaque layers: approx. 0,25 lt/m2 KEIM Concretal-Lasur and approx. 0.04 lt KEIM Concretal-Fixativ

For two low pigment top coat: Depending on the degree of dilution, determine with trial applications.

The stated consumption data are guide values for a flat surface. Exact values can be determined by painting test areas on the surface to be applied.

Cleaning Tools:
After application, clean them with water immediately.

1. Ürün Tanımı :
KEIM Concretal-Lasur için sol-silikat bazlı, pigmentsiz katkı maddesi.

2. Uygulama Alanı :
KEIM Concretal-Base, düşük pigmentli bir son kat katkı maddesi olarak KEIM Concretal-Lasur’a karıştırılır. Bu şekilde istenilen saydamlık ideal uygulama kıvamı ve film kalınlığı korunarak oluşturulabilir.

3. Ürün Özellikleri :
İç ve dış brüt beton yüzeylerde düşük pigmentli bir son kat sağlamak üzere kullanılır. Örneğin; Sıva yapılmayacak brüt beton yüzeylerde betonun renginde bir tonla leke ve onarımlar gizlenebilir. 4. Uygulama Bilgileri:
Yüzey Hazırlığı :
Uygulama yapılacak yüzeyin tozsuz ve kuru olması gerekir. Gevşek alanların, kirin, yağlı maddelerin, yosun ve sağlıksız mevcut organik bağlı katmanların tamamen temizlenmesi gerekir. Yeni beton yapılar olması durumunda herhangi bir tutucu yağ kalıntısının KEIM Betonschnellreiniger (beton temizleyici) ile temiz- lenmesi gerekmektedir. Temiz, sağlam beton ön işlem gerektirmez. KEIM Concretal-Base ile KEIM Concretal- Lasur uygulanmadan önce, yüksek oranda emici olan yüzeyler veya sert hava şartlarına maruz kalan yüzey- ler, su geçirmezliği artırmak için KEIM Silangrund veya KEIM Silan-100 (ZTV-ING ile denenmiş) kullanılarak su geçirmez alt tabaka işlemine tabi tutulabilir. Sonradan yapılacak astar kaplama, KEIM Silangrund olması durumunda yaklaşık 4 saat sonra ve KEIM Silan-100 olması durumunda 4 ila 24 saat sonra uygulanabilir. Yumuşak, boşluklu beton yüzeyler veya mevcut mineral katlar KEIM Concretal-Fixativ ile ön işlem yapılarak stabilize edilebilir.
Düşük Pigmentli Kat :
Dış mekan uygulamalarında hava şartlarına dayanıklılık gereksinimi genel olarak düşük pigmentli kaplamanın fırça veya rulo ile iki kat uygulanmasını zorunlu kılmaktadır. Astar ve son kat için KEIM Concretal-Lasur, son katın istenilen yarı saydamlığına bağlı olarak KEIM Concretal-Base ile herhangi bir oranda karıştırılabilir. Karıştırma oranını belirlemek için deneme alanlarında numune yapılması önerilir. Çalışma öncesinde ve sırasında malzemenin iyi karıştırılmış olmasını sağlayınız. Su veya herhangi bir diğer malzeme (Beton Sisteminin parçası olmayan) eklenmez.
Not :
Sistem bileşenleri Concretal-Lasur, Concretal-Base ve Concretal-Fixativ herhangi bir istenilen oranda birlikte karıştırılabilir. KEIM Concretal-Base, ideal uygulama kıvamı ve film kalınlığı ile ilgi çekici bir saydamlık sağlar. KEIM Concretal-Fixativ, güzel bir renk parlaklığı ve çok düşük bir film kalınlığı ile yüksek oranda saydam düşük pigmentli son katlar sağlar.
Uygulama Koşulları :
Hava ve uygulama yüzeyi sıcaklığı +5°C’den maks. 30°C’ye kadar olmalıdır. Uygulamayı kuru yüzeye, kuru hava şartlarında yapınız. Güçlü güneş ışığı etkisi altında, güneşin etkisiyle çok ısınmış yüzeylere veya şiddetli rüzgarlı havalarda uygulama yapmayınız. Uygulamadan sonra yüzeyleri yağmur, rüzgar veya güçlü güneş ışığından koruyunuz.
Kuruma Süresi :
Katlar arasında en az 12 saat olmalıdır. Astar katından önce KEIM Silangrund’dan sonra yaklaşık 4 saat ve KEIM Silan-100’den sonra yaklaşık 4 ila 24 saat arası beklenmelidir.
Tüketim :
Karıştırma oranına bağlı olarak ve kat başına: Concretal- Lasur ve Concretal-Base’ın önceden yapılmış karışımının yaklaşık 80-150 ml/m2 ’si. Belirtilen tüketim verileri kılavuz değerlerdir ve istenilen son kata, uygulama yöntemine ve uygulama yüzeyinin yapısına göre değişebilir. Kesin değerler, uygulama yapılacak yüzey üzerinde ki boyama deneme alanları ile belirlenebilir.
Aletlerin Temizlenmesi : Kullanımdan sonra hemen su ile temizleyiniz.

6. Depolama : KEIM Concretal-Base’ın serin, ısının donma seviyesinin altına düşmediği koşullarda yaklaşık 12 ay raf ömrü bulunmaktadır. Isı ve doğrudan güneş ışığından koruyunuz. Açılan kutuların sıkıca kapatılması gerekir.

1.Product Description

KEIM Concretal-Fixativ is a silicate based diluent and primer developed for concrete surfaces with binding agent potassium silicate, silicasol and organic additives.

The absorbency of the highly absorbent mineral application surfaces can be controlled or reduced by KEIM Concretal-Fixativ.

4.Application Instruction

Surface Preparation
Application area should be hard, dry and clean. Remove dust and oil. Repair damaged areas using the KEIM Concretal concrete repair system.

Application
For pre-treatment of highly absorbent application surfaces:

Apply undiluted KEIM Concretal-Fixativ with a brush.

As diluent on normal flat application surfaces for concrete opaque protective coatings:
KEIM Concretal-W/Concretal-W-Grob. Depending on absorbence of surface, add KEIM Concretal-Fixativ  in to KEIM Concretal- W as max 10% (Maximum 2.5 liter dilution per 25 kg of paint) and stir. Use undiluted KEIM Concretal-W for topcoat.

KEIM Concretal-Lasur
Depending on the absorbency of the application surface, mix about 20-50% KEIM Concretal-Fixativ for KEIM Concretal-Lasur (approximately 0.2-0.5 liters per liter of Lasur) for the primer layer. Use topcoat undiluted KEIM Concretal-Lasur.

As a diluent for low pigment / creative use:
Depending on the desired final coat, KEIM Concretal-Lasur can be diluted with KEIM Concretal-Fixativ in the primer and top coat at the desired ratio.

Application Conditions

Air and surface temperature: >  + 5°C

Drying time: A drying time of at least 12 hours must be ensured between the pretreatment and the primer and between the coats.

Consumption: For pre-treatment on a smooth application surface: Approx. 0,1–0,2 lt/m2 KEIM Concretal-Fixativ. The stated consumption value is a guide and depends on the absorbency and structure of the application surface. Exact consumption values can be determined by staining the test areas on the application surface.

Cleaning Tools:

After application, clean tools with water immediately.

KEIM is Concretal-Fixativ alkaline. Protect untreated areas (eg glass, natural stone, ceramics, etc.) with appropriate precautions. Wipe off any paint splashing into the environment or traffic areas with plenty of water. Protect eyes and skin from paint splashes. Keep out of reach of children.
